Q: What is guided imagery?

months?

Q: What are 5 core habits I can develop to be mentally strong?
A: Resilience -bounce back and move through challenges (Positive Emotional Control audio). Self-motivation – keep your inner fire going to make your goals reality (Self-Confidence-OKness). Q: Why don’t self-help books work better?
A: Reading can excite the imagination on what is possible but usually appeals only
to the conscious mind to make changes. The subconscious level where our habits
are formed is amazingly powerful when used methodically and systematically.
Q: What makes your material different than meditation?
A: Meditation is associated with time dedicated to “no mind,” open to what you
consider to be sacred or Source or beneficial energies. Presence of Mind materials are about training your mind to use 20 minutes for your own purposes. It can be used casually to release stress, tame tension, to recharge and energize during the day or at night to drift into a peaceful rest. It can be as a daily practice with a system that is a catalyst for self-discovery and personal growth.
Q: Can I use this to be more successful in life?
A: Yes! Your subconscious will accept anything that you send back to it. All you
need to do is get through to it consistently. The audio programs begin with relaxation then move into guided imagery around a topic/goal/concept. Several audios can be used in a category to approach a goal many different ways.
Q: Is this like mind control?
A: It is mind training, inner engineering that you can do for yourself. It is designed to give YOU the knowledge, the experience and a system to take back your own control. When you use this, you become more AWARE. And when you are more
aware, you can also recognize when someone is attempting to influence you unduly and discredit it. You take charge of your life with more and more certainty and surety.

A: When you can turn inward for 20 minutes to rest and recharge, with practice you can access that calm anytime anywhere. There is an audio called Positive Emotional Control that teaches a specific technique to observe turbulent situations/people while you respond appropriately without getting enmeshed emotionally.
Q: What age group do you use Gifting Your Child with?
A: The materials begin with a prenatal technique that begins 3 months after conception and graduate to 2 other methods with materials up to young adults about age 17.
Q: How is the children’s material different than the adult program?
A: They both are based on a model of the mind. The program for children uses material designed for a child’s imagination and gradually developing levels of maturity. The adult program is using the audio programs as a system for personal growth. In the Spectra Dynamics class on the website you also learn to write your own programs.
Q: Can I use this to make physical changes?
A: Yes! There are at least 12 changes you can make. Here are a few: learning to use the progressive relaxation technique you can stop holding tension in your shoulders, neck, back; you require less sleep as stress unwinds; health is enhanced; strengthening your sense of self love and worthiness can lead to eliminating smoking or eliminate weight so you smile when you see yourself in the mirror.
Q: Do I have to change any of my beliefs to use this?
A: No, this is unobtrusive and can be practiced without disrupting your personal
beliefs or lifestyle. It is a resource designed to enrich life.
Q: I’m middle aged – isn’t it too late to make changes?
A: You are wired for learning! Life is a learning process, from the time you enter
until you exit, and you can always learn, change and grow. What you do require is an open mind to test each and every audio program as it applies to YOU and your life.
Q: How do I know if I’m doing it right?
A: Start with the audio “Gentle Guided Relaxation.” Simply close your eyes and let
time pass until the instruction at the end say to be “wide awake.” There are a few
guidelines on the website like sitting in a comfy chair, keep your ankles/legs uncrossed so you don’t cut off blood flow or lying in a different position on the bed than the one you use for sleeping. In general, your mind and body know exactly what to do with relaxation and will naturally take you to a light, medium or deep level. You can learn to direct it and use it for your own purposes if you take the Spectra Dynamics class on the website.
Q: I can relax with marijuana. How is this different?
The side effects of using your mind are all positive, energy enhancing and empowering. We are all biochemically individuated. Marijuana and alcohol “cool”
the mental endless scroll of self-talk while sugar and caffeine stimulate you mentally and physically. The main test is: How is your life working? Are you excited about life? Do you feel enthusiastic and engaged? Are you looking forward to accomplishing something? Are you curious? I invite you to use some of the audios and notice what happens!

Can this help me?
A: Yes! Working with your subconscious makes everything easier. You can use the audios in the LEARN Program in any order. You could start with Recall if you want to sharpen your memory. If it’s hard to stick with studying you might use Concentration or Absorption. If you find the material confusing, start with Discernment. Using Goal can keep you focused on a bigger picture of why you doing all this work, seeing yourself as successful and what that means to you.
